EIFS Third Party Inspections

Many USACE Projects Require EIFS Inspections Conducted by a Certified EIFS Inspector and our Inspectors Meet Those Requirements.

eifstest1Our inspectors have undergone extensive training for this type of building finishing system. They have the experience necessary to help protect the investment from future damage or identify current problems already causing damage.

For new installations of EIFS, our inspectors can review plans and perform detailed inspections during various application phases to ensure that the system is installed according to manufacturers specifications.

SYSTEMS provides moisture analysis of any structure with EIFS or Stucco cladding. The purpose of this inspection is to find excessive moisture content in the structural cavities and framing. Using industry standard inspection techniques and our high-resolution infrared thermography, we can identify sources of moisture intrusion. The observations are all documented in a detailed written and photographic report.

Third Party Inspections are required on all field-applied EIFS installations of 10,000 SF or larger by the Building Officials Code Administrators International (BOCA Model Code). Many of the USACE projects require that a certified EIFS inspector make at least periodic observations of the EIFS installations. In many cases, full time inspections are required.
